We are happy to announce that as of May 10, 2010, we have been granted our Cradle to Cradle Certification!! After many months of material testing, paperwork, and factory visits, all has been approved and we passed with flying colors. To reach this certification we needed to meet the following criteria:
Material Health (Impact on Humans and Environment)
Material Reutilization (Recyclability and Recycled Content)
Use of Renewable Energy
Water Stewardship
Social Responsibility
One of our mottos here at glass2 is to “design with a conscience” and now with this certification we have proven that we, as well as all of our loyal customers, are doing just that!
2010 has been a great introductory start for glass2! So far, we have attended the Surfaces show in Las Vegas, the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Chicago, and most recently, the Coverings show in Orlando. The response that we have received from numerous architects, designers, retail stores, distributors, and fabricators attending these shows has been overwhelming. We have been excited to introduce our new product to the public and have been met with a warm welcome by the entire industry.
At Coverings 2010, there was not a dull moment at our booth. All of our staff as well as our current distributors were there in attendance to help out. It was a great time for us to all get together, as well as to spread the word about glass2! Attendees arrived from all over the United States, as well as internationally. Some traveled from as far away as South America and Europe, and took home with them knowledge and information about our product. We are very happy with the efforts put forth at Coverings, and for the great response we received, and look forward to exhibiting again at Coverings 2011!
